No More Mistakes with GSA Schedule 75 Reopened
The much-awaited gsa schedule 75 by US General Services Administration has been finally reopened for the sale of office supplies to the Federal government agencies. The schedule is officially known as Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 75 was closed in 2010.
The closure of gsa schedule 75 to the new suppliers was due to the GSA’s focus on its own strategic sourcing contracts. This was not well accepted by the small business groups. After all years of constant suggesting, the schedule was reopened on 16th January accepting an amalgam contract model which will have the attributes of the original Schedule 75. Also, the latest strategic sourcing incarnation OS4 which has come in place of OS3 contract is present.
The new gsa schedule 75 has 3 SINs for the office products, restroom products, and the office services along with 2 new SINS for OS4. It will cover office products and services in the overseas as well the US. The main objective of this particular gsa schedule is to provide huge opportunities to the small businesses with an estimation of 5% increased sales.
“The new MAS 75 and enhanced SIN were designed to leverage the advantages of utilizing the increased competition from OS2 and ensuring the transparency set forth in OS3, to help GSA accomplish its goals and create value,” said GSA Administrator Emily Murphy.
